Background:
Milly was born to a well regarded ICC officer and a smuggler he met on a colony on the planet Mars. After her mother took off when she was only two years old, she was raised alone by her father on Earth. Milly developed a passion for technology and science, largely influenced by her father's constant encouragement. As she grew, she proved herself a strong and resourceful young woman and spent four years intensively studying computer sciences, landing her shining reviews and a technician's position on a cutting-edge technology ICC research starship project at the age of 18.
Following in her father's footsteps, young Milly was trained into a well received junior ICC officer and everyone's expectations of her were high. In the time she worked on the ship on its journey to the distant planet Rubi-Ka, she developed a secret romance to none other but the ship's captain. One night, in the orbit of Mars, Milly became his fiancée.
When the ship approached Rubi-Ka, it came under heavy fire from alien battleships and crashed devastatingly in the wastelands. The entirety of the crew was declared dead.
Milly woke up on a surgeon's table in a brightly lit white room. Her right arm and both legs were gone. They were replaced with advanced Omni-Med biocybernetics, giving her a new chance at life. She suffered a severe amnesia from her injuries in the shipwreck and was left on the planet without an identity, no contacts to the ICC and no belongings.
Her computer skills did gain her a passage to the underworld of Rubi-Ka and she re-established herself as a hacker, partaking in a laundry list of illegal Clan operations, including Notum smuggling, human trafficking and drug marketing. She developed an addiction to narcotics and struggled with them for years to come.
Five years passed and the ICC discovered she was alive on the planet. Her memories were restored and she was reunited with the captain she had once loved, who had miraculously survived the shipwreck, and had now become the security minister of Newland - Agrestus Wright. She chose to stay on Rubi-Ka with him and now resides in Newland as a legal citizen, also working as the Council of Truth's liaison for the city council.
Mirura has recently been connected to the elusive criminal group known as Black-Net. Despite having established a new life as a seemingly lawful citizen, her dealings with the underground haven't ceased.
Personality: An observant rogue, Milly has it all going on behind the scenes. Her protectiveness about her private businesses and personal life makes her a difficult person to befriend to some, but a formidable, loyal business partner and even a friend and a lover to those who can see through the cold shell and speak in her language. Her sense of humor is pitch black as is her cynical view on the world, skewed by her rough experiences with Rubi-Ka's underside, and her loyalties are bound to shift towards whoever can pay the most for it without many moral hold-ups. Still, despite being a sheer opportunist, there are things she is unwilling to compromise for any price.
Mirura's curiosity gets her into trouble more often than not. Despite her cold and uncaring appearance she keeps her eyes and ears open all the time, and often the information she has is available to the right person for the right price.
Mir is very sensitive over comments and remarks about her synthetic limbs, particularly ones comparing her to cyborgs or otherwise questioning just how human she is.
Likes: While not excessively fond of violence, Mir appreciates a pair of guns when talking just isn't enough. Being born an urban child, her heart belongs to big cities that never sleep, and she is most active during the time the sun is down, living by the glow of artificial lights and the pulse of the nighttime.
Dislikes: An anarchist at heart, she has a dislike for most authority figures and lawful goody-two-shoes, whom she considers spineless. She keeps a strict personal space and reacts with hostility if an unwanted person intrudes in it. Her public stance on Omni-Tek is negative.
