Newland Council Meeting
Meeting of Newland Council for the month of December, 29483 Newland City Council Meeting December 6th, 29483 Council in Attendance: Mayor Zephrem "Toog" King General "Hekkat" -- Newland Miltia Vincent "Boltgun" Delage -- Minister of Foreign Relations Newland Citizenry Tamar "Lasliana" McCovery "Zedonius" Observer: Roger "Scoopx" Johnson -- Rubi-Ka Times (N) News Team The meeting was brought to order by Mayor King at 1900 hrs UTC. The first order of business was the discussion of the recent incursion of Omni-Pol into Newland and their harassment of Newland citizens. Not specific Officers were named or incidents, but the underlying current of the discussion was heated. Mayor King and General Hekkat discussed face-to-face meetings with Director Sergayich of Omni-Pol for clarification of on-going investigations that involve alleged Newland citizens. No time was set for the meeting. The second order of business was put forth by Zedonius of Black Cell. He brought up the Borealis Freedom movement and asked Newland for armed support to throw out Omni-Tek. Mayor King and General Hekkat went on to educate and inform Zedonius that Newland would not violate their neutrality over an area that is not part of the Newland Accords. A very heated discussion was entertained as to the movement in Borealis and why it does not affect Newland. The third order of business was brought up by Ms. McCovery. She reported that the Whom-pahs in Newland were not functioning correctly for a period of time on Saturday, the 5th. Mayor King directed her to bring it to the attention of Omni-Com, as they are responsible for the Whom-pah system on Rubi-Ka. The meeting was then adjourned by Mayor King. And now you Know!
