Introduction

With the new Legacy of Xan booster, a set of new and interesting NCUs were added as well. These come in 4 different sorts which will be covered later in the guide. These are the items you will require:

Base NCU - Type 00 (0/6)

Drops from Technomaster Sinuh, Vortexx and the Deranged Xan

Memory Cells
Drops from Technomaster Sinuh and Vortexx as well as regular Dust Brigade mobs in Neretva Canyon.


The Memory Cells needs to be at least 80% of the NCU's QL.

Each Memory Cell added to the NCU bumps its QL by a great amount depending on the QL of the NCU if you are
not using the QL adjustment slider in the tradeskill window. So be extra careful if you want low QL NCUs.

NCU Memory NCU

NCU Memory exclusively buffs your NCU, at QL300 it will buff a massive 192 NCU once you have added 6 Memory Cells to it.

You can add up to 6 Memory Cells to the NCU leaving you with a:

Abilities NCU

Abilities NCU can buff all your base abilities by up to 5 per NCU, it can include one cell of each ability.
Below is an example of adding an Intelligence Cell to a Base Cell:

You can add the different Ability Memory Cells in any order, with all 6 abilities tradeskilled onto the NCU you will end up with a:

Nano NCU

Nano NCUs can buff all six nano skills at the same time by up to 5 per NCU, it can include one cell of each ability
Below is an example of adding a Bio. Met cell to a Base Cell:

As with the Abilities NCU, you can add additional Nano Skill Cells in any order. Once upgraded six times you will end up with a:

Weapons NCU

The Weapons NCUs can buff all the various weapon skills by up to 6 per NCU. However unlike the Nano and Abilities NCU it can only buff one single weapon skill at a time.
Below is an example of adding a 1-Hand Blunt Memory Cell to a Base NCU:
