This quest involves killing a lot of Omni-Tek sided mobs and extensive traveling and even running through a number of high level missions. But the rewards, I can assure you, are worth it.

High Commander Brock will be the focus of the quest, he is standing in the outpost SE of Tir City in Tir County (2861,741) behind a building on a corner.

Note: The mobs you need to take on must be named 'OT' (i.e. Fresh OT XXX, Rookie OT XXX, Seasoned OT xxx, etc.) and not just be the normal variety (i.e. Fresh Assasin). The normal versions will not yield the items you need.

The quest has 5 different parts, each one giving you a nice ring of Tir which will boost your abilities. Each part is harder to do than the previous one, this is reflected in the rings themselves as they have title level requirements and are NoDrop. You can't skip doing one part just to get a better ring, they need to be done in a certain order. But what you can do is gather the items (which are NoDrop) needed ahead of time for each part and perhaps save some time.

There are 5 Rings of Tir, which you get in the following order:

- Watcher of Tir Ring
- Sergeant of Tir Ring
- Captain of Tir Ring
- Commander of Tir Ring
- High Commander of Tir Ring

The lower to mid level mobs (fresh, amateur, rookie, seasoned) aren't a problem since they can be found in outdoor camps, however the the higher level mobs (veteran, ace) need to be found in missions. In order to increase the chance of human type mobs in missions remember to set your "order - chaos" setting when selecting missions to 100% order.

Part One: Watcher of Tir Ring
Talk to Brock and tell him he has a nice ring. He will looks you up and down, he will then ask you if you have a ring already and of course you will tell him that you have no ring. He will give you an empty Dog-Tag Bag and a mission.

Your objective is to hunt Fresh OT and Amateur OT mobs for Grunt Dog-Tags. If you find such a Dog-Tag, put it into the Dog-Tag bag by shift-right clicking with it on the bag.

They can be found in several locations, SE of Tir and round the edges of Newland lake are the most convenient places. Lower level characters who don't want to travel that far should pull missions around QL1-10 which should be located inside or around the city where they pulled the mission from.

Note: I strongly suggest if you're a lowbie that you get to Old Athen and pull a mission from there.

When you have filled the bag with 10 Grunt Dog-Tags, it will be full. Go back to High Commander Brock and give him the bag. He will give you this:

Part Two: Sergeant of Tir Ring
Talk to High Commander Brock and show him the "Watcher of Tir Ring", he will ask you if you are ready to hunt down Rookie OT mobs. If you're up to it, tell him that you will hunt Rookies, for Rookie Dog-Tags. He will then give you another empty Dog-Tag Bag and a mission.

You can find a good number of Rookie OT mobs in a large area between the main road and an omni outpost in Varmint Woods (3800,1600) or you could pull some missions from QL30-60.

You can find a good number of Seasoned OT mobs north of the 2HO outpost (you can get there through the grid), where the ferry point is. You could also pull some missions from QL 90-150.

Veteran OT mobs are rarely found outdoors, so your best bet is to pull missions from QL 180-200.

Ace OT mobs are also rarely found outdoors, so your best bet is to pull missions from QL 195-210.

These rings are great, especially if you don't have the Shadowlands expansion.
