Universal Gridfeed - Research Cap info

There is a new Research guide, that will explain the amount of exp, and sk that is needed to cap every level.

Also available is the info that will let you know what real level is needed for each LE level.

there's a mistake, the XP/SK gained post research cap isn't wasted, it goes into the leveling XP and helps level up!
it's wasted only on 220 chars that can't level up anymore of course.

the 220 have to play with global research not to waste it. Although i've heard people getting post cap XP/SK getting to waste, even when they're not 220 (prolly a bug), the way it's supposed to work, post cap XP/SK helps you level up ^^

To be honest, I'm wasting a whole bunch of Global SK on my 220, I can't be bothered having one setting for killing mobs & then having to alter it just for the familiar in the mission then alter it back...

You should be able to set your Personal Research lvl & then your Global Research lvl, then have anything left over go onto your SK/xp lvl gain (or forced onto your Global research if you're 220).

Having to fiddle with it all the time is stupid...



Which the way I'm doing it means once all my Personal research is finished, THEN I'll start giving it all to Global...

This is completely non-scientific, but what I do on my 220 is set the slider % to match the level of research I'm working on.

Level 1 research 10% Personal 90% Global
Level 2 research 20% Personal 80% Global
Level 3 research 30% Personal 70% Global
....

Level 10 research 100% Personal 0% Global

Even on lvl10 research, I've never had over about 32k in one shot...

I'm thinking there's a % cap on it as well as a points cap...

Ah yeah, thanks for the correction. Serves me right for only playing a 220 char :p.
